Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Cricademia High Performance Centre collects through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We collect information only when you choose to give it to us.

Booking a net

When you book a net we collect your name, email address and phone number, along with the details of your booking. We use these to run your booking: to confirm it, to email you about it, and to manage any cancellation or refund. We keep booking and payment records for six years, because financial records must be kept for HMRC.

Asking about a course

When you send a course enquiry we collect the player's first name and age, your name, your email address and phone number, and anything you write in the message box. We use these to reply to you about the right course, and for nothing else. We deliberately collect as little as possible about your child: no date of birth, no address, and no medical information. Anything else we need is collected at enrolment, in person.

Enquiries are kept for one month, after which they are deleted.

Paying for a course place

When you pay for a course place we collect the same details as an enquiry — the player's first name and age, and your own contact details — together with a record of what you paid, your booking reference, and any refund. Like net bookings, these payment records are kept for six years.

How payments are handled

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our systems. What we send Stripe is your email address and a description of what you are buying — never your child's name or age. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to the information they process.

Children's information

The only information we hold about a child is a first name and an age, given to us by a parent or guardian, and used to talk to that parent or guardian about the right course. Nothing about a child ever appears on a public page of this site, and nothing about a child is shared with our payment processor.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for marketing. It is handled by the services that run this site on our behalf: Stripe for payments, Resend for sending our emails, and the hosting on which the site and its database run. Each acts only on our instructions.

Cookies

The public site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookie we use is a sign-in cookie for academy staff, on staff pages.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — though we must keep payment records for the statutory six years. Contact us using the details on our contact page and we will respond promptly. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
